This is a well made tool from a respected manufacturer. I really liked the responsiveness of the included scissors as well. The knife blade is small but it does allow you to cut through straps, packaging, and pretty much any other small task. They meet together well and do a great job cutting all the way through plastic sheathing. While they don’t work as well as a full size set of wire strippers the ones on the ES4 are surprisingly effective. You can also cut or strip a variety of common wire sizes. They’re all spring-action and give you the ability to grip small objects. The main tool on the ES4 is the combination pliers/strippers/cutters. It gives you nine useful tools in a 2.25 in long package. If you’re looking for a keychain multi tool for an electrician look no further than the Leatherman Squirt ES4. There are plenty of purpose built devices out there but they can get a bit bulky. If you work as a licensed electrician having the right tools is absolutely essential.
